General Description
This exclusive villa that dominates a huge landed property offers magnificent views of the surrounding countryside, and is situated on the gentle rolling hills of the Tuscan/Umbrian border between Montepulciano, Cortona and Lake Trasimeno. This is a central location of southern Tuscany; Siena is only 50 minutes by car. Villa Vera offers ample living areas both outside and inside and makes an ideal location for large family occasions, a wedding or special events. The pool (7x12 and 1,60 to 2,50 depth)in front of the villas is surrounded by a very large safe garden for children. There is a solar heating system for the pool, which maintains the water temperature between 23-30 degrees depending on the season and weather. The property consists of a main villa (Vera) with 10 bedrooms and a smaller villa ( Paola) with 4 suites, each with a double bedroom and living room with sofa bed. The 2 villas are adjacent to the expansive annex of 400 square meters, which includes large living area, dining area and professional kitchen. The villas and annex, all air conditioned, are tastefully decorated and have modern furnishings. Outside the covered veranda with beautiful views across the romantic hills is fully furnished for lounging and dining. In the immediate vicinity of the villa there is the large pool and a well maintained and safe garden. Full Staff available upon request for chef and maid services. The villa may be booked for main villa plus annex for max 20 people ( with the smaller villa kept closed) or for the complete 2 villas and annex for a max of 28-34. Wedding parties and cooking services are allowed exclusively with owner staff

Further Details - Local Area Tuscany Umbria border The villa has a strategical location to visit the hearth of Tuscany and famous cities like Siena, Arezzo, but also Perugia, Assisi, Lake Trasimeno and Rome. It's only 20 minutes driving from the motorway exit Chiusi or also Valdichiana. The villa faces on one side on Tuscan hills and on the other side on Trasimeno lake. Just south of Siena is Val d’Orcia, with its enchanting landscape, celebrated for its gentle sloping hills and the beautiful hamlets of Montepulciano, home to the wine which bares the same name, Pienza and Montalcino, home to the very prestigious grapes which the Brunello wine is born from. Lake Trasimeno is one of largest lakes on the Italian peninsula and certainly the most stunning. The farmed fields slope downwards until reaching the shore of the lake. Nearby are imposing medieval ruins and fortified castles. From the dry land you can reach the lake’s three islands: Maggiore, where there stands a battlemented castle, Minore and Polvese.
